The doctors at Texoma Veterinary Hospital are members of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practioners.

 

The doctors and staff are dedicated to keeping abreast of the latest developments in veterinary medicine. Each year the doctors meet or exceed the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practioners requirement of 50 hours of continuing education. This knowldege is passed on to the enitre staff of our hospital through training meetings.

 

Our doctors share their love for veterinary medicine in our community. They make frequent presentations to groups of students in the area on pet care and veterinary careers.

 

Dr. Ken Lawrence:


Dr. Lawrence is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He opened Texoma Veterinary Hospital in July 1984. His family includes his wife, Mary and their two boys, Scott and Kyle. Dr. Lawrence is active in the Boy Scouts and Western Heights Church of Christ. He enjoys studying and teaching in the area of marriage enrichment, creation and evolution and general Bible study. He is also involved in the church's Celebrate Recovery ministry. His hobbies include teaching at church and tinkering with computers.


 


Dr. Sue Frazier:


Dr. Frazier is a 1983 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. She joined our staff in July 1988. In addition to small animal medicine and surgery, she has a special interest in reproduction in dogs.

Dr. Frazier's family includes her husband, Dr. Richard Frazier and their four children John, Brian, Matthew, and Laura. They enjoy their golden retrievers Reesie and Riley. Dr. Frazier is very involved with education in the Sherman Independent School District. She has served as president of the school board and is a member of the SHS PTA, PACES, and Sherman Choir Boosters. Her hobbies include reading, canoe trips, skiing and other outdoor activities.

 



Dr. David Tidwell:

 

Dr. David Tidwell is a 2000 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the staff at Texoma Veterinary Hospital in May 2000 where he loves practicing veterinary medicine. His special interests are ultrasonography, endoscopy, and orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Tidwell's family includes his wife, Jennifer and their two children Jacob and Claire. They enjoy their three dogs, Trampas, Max, and Marlee and their cat Corky. The Tidwell's are very active in the community and are active members of Georgetown Baptist church in Pottsboro where Dr. Tidwell serves as a deacon.
